2face Innocent Idibia has set the pace once again in the entertainment industry in Nigeria with the release of his biography at Terra Kulture a few days ago. In attendance were the likes of Sound Sultan, Jimmyjatt, Tiwa Savage, Ali Baba who was the reviewer, Dj Spinall, RMD, Segun Arinze, Teju Babyface, Klint da drunk, Chris Ihidero, Ketchup, Ubi Franklin, Olisa Adibua, Olori Supergirl amongst others.
The book titled “A very good bad guy” tells of 2face’s life journey and contains various accounts from his mother, wife, colleagues and mentors. According to Ali Baba, “it takes you through a trip of 2face Idibia’s life; it chronicles his life from grass to grace, peaks of his glory as well as some unwanted details that shouldn’t have been added by the publishers.”
As reviewer Ali Baba also mentioned these about the book:
# The book shows a deep insight of family, bonding and it’s relevance to the success and failure on an artist.
# In the book you will notice that security is something and artist should take seriously because a lot of celebrities suffer ‘fan violence’.
# All through the book, you’ll see the story of how to become a star and the fact that your creativity needs to connect with your audience. That is why he sings mostly in pidgin to effectively pass across his message.
The book is now available in book stores around the country.
