Introducing the very alluring and Nigeria’s foremost fashion engineer, makeup artist, and designer, Sayedero Enytan.

Sayedero Enytan has an active Engineering career having studied Electrical Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State. But fashion is her calling. And in-between her 9 to 5, she still finds the passion and commitment to satisfy her readers who trust her fashion sense and style as projected on her blog, The Fashion Engineer.

In this interview, the fashion blogger opens up on her inspirations, her wardrobe and her little secrets.

St.Eve Magazine: What/Who inspired the creation of and what motivates you to keep going during the good and bad times?

Sayedero Enytan: I started while I was at university and it was because a lot of people would ask me where I shopped, so I created a site I could direct them to. There have been bad times, especially when I put in a lot of effort and I don’t see rewards but the good definitely outweighs the bad.

St.Eve Magazine: If you were to start all over again, what would you do differently?

Sayedero Enytan: If I was to start all over, I’ll be more consistent with my post, that’s one of the major complaints I get from my readers, but it’s not very easy because I have a 9-5.

St.Eve Magazine: If you had to start your wardrobe from scratch, what 5 things would you go and buy straight away?

Sayedero Enytan: A black blazer, a pair of nude heels, white button down shirt, high waist pants and timberland boots.

St.Eve Magazine: What’s the most expensive piece of clothing you have ever bought?

Sayedero Enytan: Luckily I haven’t had to buy anything really expensive, they have always been gifted to me.

St.Eve Magazine: What should every woman own?

Sayedero Enytan: A smile, confidence and sky high heels.

St.Eve Magazine: What would you wear to meet royalty or the President of Nigeria?

Sayedero Enytan: I would wear a vintage gown with Sequin and beaded embellishment. I’m obsessed with anything vintage, I think its timeless.

St.Eve Magazine: What is the craziest thing you have ever done with your hair?

Sayedero Enytan: My hair is always crazy, right now its blue and green.

St.Eve Magazine: If you ever go get a tattoo, what would it be and which part of your body would you have it on?

Sayedero Enytan: If I was to get a tattoo, I would get  a full sleeve tattoo on my hands – it will probably have my grandma’s face with some bible verses.

St.Eve Magazine: What kinds of clothes are in fashion now but which you could never see yourself wearing?

Sayedero Enytan: I’ll say a bikini, I think people that wear bikinis are really bold, even my underwear has more coverage lol

St.Eve Magazine: What two lessons have life taught you that you would tell a younger you?

Sayedero Enytan: I’ll advice a younger me to be more patient, God got you it’ll work out well for your good.

The second lesson will be to start saving money. No matter how small, save Sayedero!
