Leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and the patron, Kpakpando Foundation, Dr Mrs Marian Comfort Nneamaka Ogoh Ali (Enyi-Kpakpando) was honoured by the Catholic Women Organization, CWO, Asaba. The Catholic diocese of Issele-Uku, Asaba Indigenous Catholic Women Organization (AICWO) in her 17Th Annual Conference 2021, honours personalities who have made landmark impacts on the society.
The CWO in its keen and spiritual observation endorsed the conferment of the award of Ezinne-Oha (Good mother of all), on Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Comfort Ogoh Ali (Enyi-Kpakpando), in recognition of her outstanding benevolence and steering contributions towards the growth and development of humanity and society at large. The huge turnout of her family, friends and political associates at the venue of the event is a good testament of not only her philanthropic gestures but her susceptibility to openness and friendly relationship, which depicts her character as a leader with a large heart.
Speaking at the Event, the chairman of the Occasion, a former House of Rep member and immediate past EDP, NDDC, Hon Dr, Cairo Ojougboh described the celebrant, Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali as a true Ezinne-Oha. In his own words,
“I am not surprise by this award conferred on you, because you have done great things in our state in particular and the nation at large that warranted this award.”I know this award will encourage you to do greater things, doing things that will elevate people are not new to you, they are part of you. Ezinne-Oha, Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali, I know you as a mother who has made Delta state very proud, both within and outside the state. Your love for Anioma cause is legendary. Without you probably an Anioma son won’t be governor of Delta State today.”
Hon Dr Cairo Ojougboh (Akinuwa of Anioma), eulogises president Muhammadu Buhari for the numerous achievements of his administration. Dr Cairo urged Nigerians to continue to support the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari assuring that more dividend will be made available through their cooperation and support. Addressing aggrieve members of APC delta state, Dr Cairo assured that no one man is bigger than the party, insisting that there is no way one man will claim to be the party (APC) in delta state. Noting that the caricature being display will end soon and everyone will come together to champion a common front as a united Delta APC. Also speaking at the event, Chief Great Ogboru lauded the celebrant, Dr Mrs Marian Ali, stating that Anioma is blessed to have such a highly resource mother and a leader like her.
Chief Ogboru described Mrs Ali as an intelligent fighter who has made so much accomplishments in her chosen career. Great Ogboru urged delta state APC faithfuls to remain firm with the party as the dark clouds they see will soon disappear.
Also speaking at the event, AVM Terry Okorodudu (Rtd), commended the exemplary lifestyle of the celebrant, Dr Mrs Marian Ali whom according to him has strived thorough prominence and had made prominent men. AVM Okorodudu described Enyi-Kpakpando as a great woman of substance, a veritable fighter for justice and well-being of her people. AVM Okorodudu encouraged all Nigerians to join hands with President Buhari’s administration in the fight against corruption, lamenting over the revealing fraud uncovered recently by the report of the forensic audit of NDDC. AVM Okorodudu insists that we must not leave the fight against corruption for President Muhammadu Buhari alone, urging all citizens to show patriotism by supporting the administration in any way they can in the fight against corruption. Good will messages from the Hon Minister of state for Labour and Employment, Hon Festus Keyamo SAN and Rt Hon Engr Victor Ochei, Executive Director, Labour and Cabotage, NINASA, were also delivered.
